MILF-SOG blasting, kills 2, wounds 8 others

One of two fatalities in early morning explosion in the public market was allegedly the bomb courier

Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao: The Moro Islamic Liberation Front Special Operations Group (MILF-SOG) has struck again with its improvised explosive device (IED) killing two persons, and wounding eight others in Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao province on Monday morning, according to the Army spokesman.

Lt. Col. Jonathan Ponce, spokesman of the Army’s 6th Infantry Division (6ID) told The Manila Times by phone that one IED exploded around 6:15 a.m. on Monday at the Barangay Public Market of Barangay Kitango in Datu Saudi Ampatuan town.
